Engineering Physics Lab for I B.Tech
The Applied Physics laboratory is well equipped with standard and latest technology to provide hands on experience to all the engineering students to understand and learn the concepts which has been discussed in the classroom. The students will have the opportunity to implement the experiments to observe and measure a number of physical phenomena. The experiments will be related to the field of heat, electronics, electricity and magnetism, optics and modern physics thus covering the broad span of the syllabus.
B.Sc. (Hons.) Semiconductor Technology Laboratory
The Division of Physical Sciences – Physics is equipped with well-established laboratories that directly support our innovative curriculum in Semiconductor Technology. Our students benefit from hands-on learning in dedicated labs for essential areas such as Semiconductor Fabrication Technology Lab, Very-Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) Design and Technology Lab, Embedded Systems Lab, Semiconductor Device Modeling Lab, Lithographic Techniques Lab, Application-Specific Integrated Circuit (ASIC) and Field-Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) Design Lab, and Register-Transfer Level (RTL) Design and Validation Lab. Furthermore, their comprehensive understanding is enhanced through core physics laboratories, offering minor specializations in Solid State Physics Lab, Thermodynamics Lab, and Quantum Mechanics Lab. This integrated approach of specialized and foundational labs ensures our students develop both the theoretical knowledge and practical skills crucial for success in the dynamic field of semiconductor technology.
Department Library
A unique place in a department that support and facilitate teaching, learning and research is a Department library. Our library initiated during the start of the department is well-equipped with collection of various books related to different fields of physics. Having a total of more than 500 books it facilitates not only for physics but engineering students as well. Not restricting to the professional reading the library provides a good amount of leisure reading and books for soft skills development.
